 Hi, today I am going to be talking about ChatGPT, and its advantages and disadvantages. So let's start


1. What is Chat GPT?

Chat GPT is an AI chatbot (Artificial Intelligence) developed by Open AI which is into artificial intelligence. It was launched on 30th November 2022 and is now trending in 2023.  This technology has proven to be a supreme disruptor in the market. Chat GPT is very helpful and dangerous to our lives, so we have to keep that in mind and use it. It can be accessed by creating or signing in to your Open AI account. It can also understand human language as it is spoken and written. The applications include translation and modeling. This technology is going to change the way we use the Internet and it might become a part of our lives. It is truly a new wave of technology. It can answer any questions and can be accessed by browsers. It uses artificial intelligence to answer the questions you have. 2. Advantages of ChatGPT

There are many advantages of ChatGPT, some of them are,

a) It saves your time- It gives the result of your question in seconds. Suppose you need something urgently, then you can use ChatGPT and make your work done faster. This saves you time. It has a quick response time.

b) It can write,

  •  Articles
  • Research papers
  • Poems
  • Books
  • Essays
c)  It can code for you- Yes, it can code for you. If you give a coding problem to solve, it can just give the code to you in the chatting window. For example, if I want a background color for my HTML file, I can ask that ChatGPT and it will give me the code I need to run the program. It helps in coding projects.                              

d) It can answer your questions- It can answer your questions and give you the information you need.

e) It has a good understanding of ethics and morality.- It knows how to behave with humans.

3. Disadvantages of ChatGPT

There are many advantages of ChatGPT, Some of them are,

  • It misunderstands tasks
  • No/ limited knowledge of current affairs
  • Hard for plagiarism tools to catch content
  • Student's creativity could be diminished
  • May hamper problem-solving skills
  • Can generate incorrect information
